I am not in your area, but wanted to take a moment to Welcome you TO Back YarD Chickens!

I read on your other post about you raising your Grandfather's two hens, and also the new baby chicks that are coming! I am so sorry about you losing him, he would be so happy and proud of you taking on his girls.

You will be busy! I am new to the chicken world too, and if I didn't have this web site, I would be lost in the dark for sure!

Any questions, please just find the right spot in the forums to ask and you shall have an answer. The people in here are wonderful.
