Hi all new to BYC and chickens in general, but am already having a great time with it and enjoying building my coop, and raising my chicks who are now a few days away from being a month old. I've got 2 BPR, 2 Red Stars, a Buff Orpington and an Americauna. I'm grateful for BYC have already learned a lot on here.

Hi there and welcome to BYC! It's great to have you with us! You have some nice breeds there! Though, it's likely you have an Easter Egger, not Ameraucana. Still a great breed, I love them!

Post pictures in the What Breed or Gender is this? forum. We should be able to tell for you. But, true Ameraucanas are harder to find, you'll only get them from a breeder most of the time. It's common for EEs to be mislabeled.
