In the Brooder
Hi all!
I've had chickens now for almost 10 years. Currently, we have 5 Rhode Island Reds, and 1 sex link (she's 2 days younger, and the other girls ostracize her. Boss chicken is Spike, her sidekick is Spikette, and that last one is #6. The others are interchangeable, so we variously call them Stu, Cacciatore, or Kiev. They're not pets, they're for egg production. I started them this spring, and they're finally slowly laying. We get 3 eggs a day now.
I've been actually coming to the forum for ideas for over 5 years, but finally joined today!
