Actually Jenny, I just recently did hear of them and it looks interesting. I'm anxious to hear how your babies look when you get them. What kind of Cochins did you get?
I'm such a sucker for cochins.

Hi, everyone! I'm Liz, in western Ohio. I work in "consumer microbiology" to make money I'm a vollenteer EMT to meet firemen, and I raise chickens to make friends. And it's working! I'm trying to limit myself to three breeds: Silkies, Seramas, and bantam Cochins. I think I have enough nice ones right now to start breeding for show quality. I've collected too many different kinds of Cochins, though, and I really need to narrow my focus. I think it takes too many birds to develop a good mille, and I don't have the space. I have two mille boys who will need a "job" elsewhere. No wheeling and dealing on this thread, I presume, but I love getting pm's!

Hey there everyone, I'm Nikki and I live just outside of Youngstown. Currently we have 2 Amberlinks and 2 Cinnamon Queens. I just ordered 4 Buckeyes and 13 Broilers which should be here near the end of march. Currently I am getting on old 8x10 shed in order for all the new chicks.

You've met a fireman or friends or both?

Sounds like a great plan to me.
I looked at your page and if your Seramas were # from left to right, top to bottom, I'd vote for 1,3,5, and 7, then maybe 6 but I can't tell for sure about her, it's not the best picture. You have some very nice Seramas.
What kind of Cochins do you have? I may already know this and just can't remember.

Oh Nick, I'm so sorry. What happened, or should I ask?

he just wasn't doing well I got him at a show and just never did well finally i ha to put him down i think he was blind and would just fall over at times

I did look at Mt. Healthy -- they have all the breeds I want except for Cochin -- I could maybe get a Cochin elsewhere, BUT there's all that quarantine business to deal with, followed by integration issues. Sheesh, I don't want to start off with problems... so I will take my chances that shipping them will go smoothly.
