So.. .. even if a person is allergic or sensitive to soy, wheat, crickets, mice or whatever a chicken eats, an egg is an egg is an egg, is that what yer tellin' me? So it doesn't matter what the chicken eats or what I'm allergic to, I can still eat the egg? No harm, no, er, fowl? Gee that's great, thanks!
Edited typo.
EXACTLY... Do you get Itchy if you Shake Hands or Hug another person than eats Soy, Gluten, Peanut Butter, Mice or anything You are allergic to? I highly doubt it! Now IF you are allergic to Peanut Butter, and you shake a hand of someone who just ate a PBJ and did not Wash Up...That's a different situation! You are contacting the Actual Allergen in the Peanut Butter. The Peanut Protein itself. You will react then. NO KISSING that guy/girl either!!!!
I have a friend, Matt, that is allergic to Poison Ivy. If a neighbor down the block is burning wood or weeds that contain Poison Ivy, and the Wind blows the Smoke Matt's way, HE will break out just as if he handled Poison Ivy himself! Matt carries an Epipen because Breathing the Poison Ivy Smoke can Kill him. But Matt loves Goat Cheese and Poison Ivy is Goat Crack! They will strip a field of it. Matt can eat all the Goat Cheese he wants. The allergen is not transferred to the Milk or the Meat. Same with Eggs...JJ
BTW...Allergies and avoiding getting Customers sick, was one of the subjects I taught and Practiced... Can't have a Kid eat your food and get Sick! Especially when you are a Chef at the local Country Club and the boys Dad is the most successful LAWYER in town! True story! Young William had multiple food allergies. Of the entire staff, William liked my cooking the best and Mom and Dad trusted me to keep their Boy safe...
