Soy

We would like to know why some people offer eggs from chickens that have been feed "no soy?" Soy beans are a vegetable, what's wrong with it? We feed Purina Layena and they seem healthy except the one that tried to cross the road yesterday. Where can we get Organic feed. I don't think we will change. Had a collie we fed Purina Dog Chow, she lived 19 years. Just wondering what the brain trust out there has to say. Thanks.

There are people who do not want to feed soy because:
1. they want a NON-GMO feed
2. they may have allergies to soy
3. Soy is treated to be Round-up ready--heavily treated with pesticides.
Just a few reasons.
