I am going to have 12 hens and a rooster, how much space do they need?

You will need 2sq ft of coop space and 10 square feet outside so...24 square feet of coop and 120 square feet or more outside. Good luck!

Probably more than that.... 4 sqft coop and 10 sqft run is minimum IMO.


Do some (lots) research on housing and predators before you build.
