For my chickens I have an enclosed part of my run and a open part of my run. I keep their food in the enclosed area but of course there is a access door for the chickens to go between the two areas. I covered the opening with a curtain with flaps that the chickens can pass through but the sparrows have learned how to pass through the curtain as well. Is there something I can put over this door that the chickens can pass through but will keep the sparrows out?

Can you post pics of this curtain?

When you say curtain I assume you mean just lightweight woven fabric?
I had the same issue last year for my duck house so we used flexible pieces of plastic cut into strips that we stapled over the pop door. It was light enough for the ducks to push aside but too heavy for the sparrows.
