ATV. My friends had ranch style and I had a hot rod race style. Fast and agile.
We were trail riding through the woods and I had to show them how fast I was.
I clipped a small tree with the end of my handle bar. It yanked the bars sideways and slowed down quick enough I lost the handlebars and got thrown over the front.
But of course it still had plenty enough momentum to keep going and run me completely over

Ouch. I got stuck under a wagon then dragged by a truck a little ways. But it was my fault yours sounds much more painful.
