What my Sheltie was thinking last week when he went up the road to hurl insults at a Dutch shepherd twice his size. Certainly not, "Can mom afford $500 for a vet bill today?" Nor, "Can a Cone of Shame fit through the doggy doors?"

My dog is smarter today than he was a week ago. I hope!

yeah it wasnt the greatest... my mom had to skip a few parts that i dont know about so....

Omg. Is he doing OK now?

Yes. He had a 3" gash in the big meaty part of a hind leg that needed a drain put in, and they had to anesthetize him to put it in. I didn't even know he was hurt for several hours, when I saw a drop of blood on the floor, and when I took him to the vet next morning it took them quite a while to find it through all that hair.
