oh and our vet when we asked her to do it, didnt even hesitate so that makes me feel a lot better too. and she said she would give them mealworms and gave us crates to put the hens in. she is amazing

It is a really old law so it isn’t actually enforced unless you are selling them (in a fish store). They are technically invasive but it has got to the point that they are a permanent part of the ecosystem now.
