I agree, and I don't think men should do that either. I think when each partner shows each other an equal amount of respect, and both put equal amount of work into the relationship, no one is above the other

submitting is basically letting the man be the man of the house, finances etc, and is also like yielding your desires, so like for me giving up a career to be home, etc. while respect is valuing each other.
a wife can submit to a man that loves her as Christ loves the church, because she knows that he has her best interest at heart. IMO

The bible does not say that. It says a wife is to submit to her husband. That is one man. Whom I assume she loves, considering she married him...
The only other man a woman has to "submit" to is her father while she is in the care of him.

I feel like you should all move on from this topic before you start upsetting each other. There's strong feelings and beliefs on each side.

they are its like he handles the stress of it shielding the woman, while the woman makes it comfortable for the man so he can destress imo
