I freak out if i get a 88

I have a 4.00 gpa, As and A+s, but honestly i could care less about that. I used to cry and hur tmyself for getting less than a 97, because otherwise my dad would be mad at me. I rarely get praise from him on school, the last time i did was when i wrote a 'college level' essay, a few months ago.
Eventually i learned that he isn't going to make me feel better, that i was never going to get his validation or praise, and i lived with it. I do my best.
My sister still freaks out and cries if she gets an A-. My sister is also smart, like smarter than me so it comes easier to her, and she doesn't try. Doesn't take notes, rarely focuses, since it just comes to her. So i don't feel bad. she also has a 4.00, but A+s in all grades.

That really strayed. Anyway, my point was, its useless to beat yourself up over grades like that, as long as you did your best.

yeah I was always told I was the "smart cookie" of the family and felt like I had to be it... 9-10th were b's then i kicked my butt and got honor roll in 11th to 12th

That really strayed. Anyway, my point was, its useless to beat yourself up over grades like that, as long as you did your best.

It was my siblings had it so much easier that I was jealous lol
