Cause scars tend to not be as flexible as normal skin so as it was healing it caused it to go up to allow it to stretch properly? At least that was always my guess. I could be wrong

I've had a second degree burn once boy did it hurt when the blister popped

I had a second degree burn on the top of my hand when I was young and that crap hurt like heck I still have the scar, it's the size of 2 nickles

yeah I dont know, I have one on my pointer finger like that but not as sticking up...

Not my finger that was an old cut that swelled scarred like yours.
my burn was on my arm and my dog was underneath the oven door so I opened it not enough... then yeah
