(hence why I spend too much time watching people on youtube build computers....I should watch the laptop stuff next so at least I can tell people what a decent laptop is)...

My problem is nobody tells me what they want. I have been through enough to where no, im not taking 'get whatever you want' as an answer, because i cannot read minds

Yeah, I prefer cash as a gift since all of my hobbies need specific things, and nobody knows what I want, except the parents. Usually I get to pick out what I want. Saves me headaches.
