I had a job as a teen at a truck stop. After concerts in KC that was the place the tour buses all got fuel. I met so many bands there. If I wasn't working and went to a concert I'd race there afterwards to catch them.
They had a restaurant and gift shop that many times the band would go check out. I used to have so much signed stuff.
Once David Lee Roth was there. He was a jerk. My friends mom waited on him and he was mad because she didn't ignore other customers and run to serve him.
When she did he snapped at her.... IM DAVID LEE ROTH. She replied I'm Jancin Conover, nice to meet you. He was so mad and I was ROTF

That's really cool and interesting. I wouldn't ignored him on purpose because of that
