I once imported a Water Monitor and it had to be quarantined and given some injections for a couple weeks. I can't remember what the injections where for but the vet killed my lizard because the kind he gave it was meant for cats not reptiles.
I was so mad then they sued me for not paying the bill. Ya right I'm gonna pay you for killing my pet. After a year or so I won the suit.

They are much better now. Still not the greatest but still better than that

That's awful! fortunately there is a reptile vet about 30 minutes away from where I am
