Snap traps haven't worked well for me on the rats.

Yeah that doesn’t surprise me too much. We don’t have an issue with rats though so I haven’t ever tried using them.

I had mice getting into my chicken feed for a while. I'd just catch them and let them go because they looked to cute and innocent

Once they find a food source you really can't keep them away

They'd come back though...

It was all because I left my feed out. I just had to remove the mice and clean up the feed and I haven't had a problem since

This isn’t my first time with the rats. I usually poison them, but this time there's too much of a risk of the cats getting poisoned too.
