I just made my chooks warm eggs cooked to the consistency of a booger and mixed with around an equal amount of feed

Same! Except i scramble eggs for them, because they like it like that lol

I usually do that but I wanted it to cover the pellets so the would eat those as well

No they are just free ranging right now and I didn’t want them picking around the pellets and running off
