Dang. We get a split load. Half the bales are alfalfa and half are a good grass hay. Delivered and staked $8 a bale. But we probably get a deal for the volume we get.

Have you looked into what all that would cost? It can get crazy and then there's medical. If something happens and you need vet care OMG you're done for.

Yes I have. I’m planning on saving an extra 5000 + the cost of the horse. So this is going to be a ways away.

Wow that's awesome, hay is really expensive in Florida because it's shipped in. In Tennessee grass hay was like $5-$6 a bale

You can always get a mini....much cheaper to feed and farrier is normally cheaper
