Last time i went a lady asked if she could check what size pants i wear 😃 idk why she wanted to check my pants but yeah

mine is ok usually I just had a man in his 30's check me out when I was 15, and this year a man stopping me to make small talk....
 
I think it largely depends on where you are. Here people waltz out of lowes without paying. And my Mom says one of the lowes' here isn't good at all.

I don't think anyone has told her off for being in there though.
