Yes! I think its because chickens are so cheap, people think that once one gets ill just buy a new one!
We're lucky to have great vets who really know and caew about chickens, but before when our flock got mycoplasma, a vet just said put them down, they're never going to recover…we got the medicine, syringed food and water every few hours, and now 3 years later they're happy and healthy and enjoying life!

Yep if you just take a second to think about what to do and put your time and care into something it'll usually work out. Sad to say but a lot of vets are getting lazy nowadays. They just wanna move on to the next patient and not waste time on a chicken.
