spastic then dead baby geese

I have a friend raising Shetland geese who lost all thier gosslings last year to something they can't pin point. I said I would post here and see if there are answers.

The gosslings went "spastic" tossing their heads back and around, then died. He lost them all.

At what age did they do this?

Sounds like poisioning.

It turned out to be a vitamin deficiency

Just curious...how did they determine that and what were they feeding them?

They called the zoo and found an expert in geese, that vet helped them figure it out.
