OK So my mom picked up this guy at a chicken swap a few weeks ago and she told me what he is but neither one of us can now remember. I do remember they called him a smooth frizzle. So I think that means he can make frizzle chicks??

To me he looks like a poor quailty ermine faverolles, but they don't come in frizzled. So maybe a ermine faverolles frizzled cochin cross. Poor quality or not he's handsome.

There is no such thing as a smooth frizzle. Either they are frizzled or not frizzled.


He looks like a d'Uccle, but I have no idea what color he would be. He isn't a recognized color for the breed, I do know that. He could also be d'Uccle mixed with something.
