Speaking of Rumpless....is this chick?

I'm not sure... i mean it LOOKs like it has a tail if you really look close but upon feeling for one i dont feel anything. Chick is a silkie x araucana (sp?) cross.

I think the tailless gene is dominant, so you could potentially have a tailless bird from the Araucana parent... but I would DEFINITELY seek a second opinion.

You can usually tell if it is rumpless by feeling for a tail bone. You will feel a little knob there if it will grow a tail. Otherwise, it just feels flat or kinda indents if it is rumpless.

You have to feel for a tail bone, all chicks look rumpless to me
