I was told that there were special boxes you had to ship live birds in. DO the post office have these, or do you have to get them somewhere else?

Yes, there are special boxes....they have new regulations for shipping biosecurity. I dont think the PO wil have them, but you can ask. Mine were shipped from Horizon Micro-Environments. toll free (800) 443-2498. You can check them out online... www.hm-e.net
