I want to see all of everyones chicks that have deformities but still live a normal and healthy life. such as some silkie chicks having extra toes. or a third leg, or 2 heads, or 1 wing, 3 eyes, a double beak! the categories are endless. please include even normal chicks that hatched from deformed eggs.

I have a couple of 5 week olds with deformed feet. I think the incubating temps were too high. I'll get some pics.

Well, our hen Penelope has a cross beak. Everyone told me to cull her when I asked for advise! She has never had any problem surviving, is a wonderful hen and lays daily

Tinkerbell, has a very crooked spine. I noticed her tail was growing to the side and checked her out. I felt a huge lump and thought she would not make it, but she has never had any problem. She runs around happy as a clam

She lays daily also.

I had a hen that only had one leg. She hopped around and kept up with everyone. Hoppy lived for 5 yrs, until a coyote got her. Unfortunatly she was not as fast as everyone else.

This is my cross-beak EE roo, The Professor. He was supposed to be a sexed pullet, and the tiny Cochin bantam roo (Mr. Howell) is the Alpha because The Professor can't fight back with his non-pinching beak. It means I can keep them both, for now, since the Cochin is so quiet and The Professor doesn't crow as Beta!!

Gilligan on the Left, and The Professor.

I had fed him a little with a syringe and baby parrot food when this scross started at about 2 weeks- but only because the Silver-Laced Polish, Gilligan, was super weak and not eating and had a gimp leg...but Gilligan grew out of it.

Yes, I got 7 chicks (stranded castaways) at the same time...all named for Gilligan's Isle!!
