Awww, I miss my cockatiel! Yours is gorgeous too! Yeah, all my birds LOVED chewing on paper. Man did it drive me nuts, you have no idea how many times I'd forget to put him away when I was working on homework, and I'd leave and come back and half my paper was shredded.
I always wanted to, but never did go to my teacher and say "sorry Teach, my bird at my homework!"

ive had him a long time. quite a few years ago, in 5th grade, i did have to tell my teacher he ate my homework. i think something like 3 problems were totally unreadable (is that a word?) hehe.
