Have a 19 day old chick that had a bad knee upon hatching or possibly an injury somehow that first day.( After two days it was still unable to get out of his egg by itself.) Has been on antibiotics but still has a fairly large wound on the underpart of his leg. The vet thinks it is like bubble foot but not on his foot. Does anyone know what could have caused this or how to fix it. The chick refuses to use the leg but does now put a little weight on it. Because of his handicap he now is a VERY spoiled and loved little chick and I would hate to loose him or her. I would appreciate any info.

I've never heard of bumblefoot in a chick, although I'm sure it's possible.
If he's starting to use the leg a little it sounds like you are going in the right direction with treatment.
Here's hoping he continues to grow stronger each day.
