IS THERE A BREED THAT ONLY LAYS SPECKLED EGGS ONLY???

Although egg color is determined by breed, there are variations within each. Eggs are so individual! I got a Welsummer for the dark eggs, but it turns out that in my flock of 12, that it's my Rhode Island Red that consistently lays dark brown eggs with speckles. I have two RIRs and the other lays a normal brown egg. I know the speckled egg is the RIR's, because I watched her lay it. More about egg color and variation here:
