Hi. I use to have speckled susexx a long time ago. I got them in 2012 and had them for almost 10 years. They were my favorite breed, so sweet and friendly. I told myself if I ever saw them local I'd buy them or have a hard time passing them up. Now they're at my local tractor supply for $7.99 and I'd have to buy 6. I want them but also feel bad bc I'm a stay at home mom right now so it's all on my husband, who say he doesn't care. My toddlers said yes and like chickens. I just don't know what to do. Idk if I'm afraid that they won't be the same as my first and it'll ruin that memory or if they'll be just like I remember.

If you like the breed, and they will bring your family some happiness, get them. They won't be the same girls you had before, but you can make new memories with new girls. Don't try to compare them, enjoy them as new family instead.

Only one way to find out! I say, go for it! I agree with the previous poster though, plan to make new memories to add to the old. Have fun! PS - I have one SS and she is my fave out of a flock of 30. She is curious, brave and funny!
