And I’m back with some more pics! She is about 4 months old now. Really think it’s a pullet. I will say, she had a major health issue at the beginning of February where we pretty much almost lost her, but that is a long story on another post I made if anyone is interested in reading that. These pics were taken today and she has recovered tremendously . Anyway, I think she may be a little behind on her development since she is somehow more susceptible to health issues than any of our other chickens (no issues from anyone else!!!). The comb and wattles have grown some but they are just pink right now. Tail feathers are still pointy, but I’m holding strongly onto hope
I had a very cluncky black wyandotte chicken whom I suspected was a rooster for so long. It was a big hen and had a big fat wide comb as wyandottes do. I have friends that would beg for some chicks, and I always held that one back because seemed so rooster-ish. Finally the day came and she laid an egg. So that amazed me up till the end.
I had another little silky/bantam ameraucana I thought was a rooster, she was raised with 2 roosters, and she was more aggressive than they were, she would follow me about and attack me. I was almost going to put her down then she laid a little green egg, I picked her up and loved her and was so happy, and after that she never beat me up again, but she would come over to get held every day.
