No, those are from the first SS eggs that I hatched. Mine from you are only 4 weeks now. I'll have to get some new pictures of them one of these days.

I'm going to vote roo. My girls combs look similar to that now and they are 20 weeks. Here's a couple pics of some of them at 8 weeks, the combs were still yellow and didn't even begin to pink up until many weeks later.

Wildsky, I was looking at my SS chick today and while it's still too early to tell for sure, I am thinking he is looking "roo-ish" to me. Guess a trade won't work.

Why don't you get rid of your fake rooster (the d'uccle) and keep the real one?

I would have to vote Roo as well. I only have a Speckled Sussex trio for now, but both my hens have very small combs and roo's very large. These pictures are at 16 weeks.
