Speckled Sussex Hen or Roo?

This was sold as a hatchery sexed hen- and we've never had sussex before, but that comb and the teeeeeny tail are screaming "it's a BOY-O" Hatch date 3/18/25 so about 4weeks old.

Rehoming a chicken is always very sad. I had a Black Australorp that was supposed to be a pullet... turned out to be a roo and I had to rehome him

omg us too! our first flock- the black australorp in my profile photo turned out to be a roo and we had to rehome him and it was heartbreaking- he was soooo sweet!
