Speckled Sussex... Is it still a pullet?

I have 3 speckled sussex cockerels about 14 wks old now, their combs are almost an inch tall, at least 3/4, anyway. I had 4, but one began picking on the light brahma and became chicken dinner last night. I will see if I can get a picture. My 2 hens have more comb than this pullet at that age. I will try to take a picture and post it, so you can see the difference. My roosters have fully developed hackle feathers and are handsome boys, much larger than the hens and very tall, with 2 curving tail feathers that the girls don't have. Unfortunately, they are starting to get kind of scrappy... Down side of hatchery chicks, always twice as many roosters as hens in the straight run... My new rule is buy pullets if they offer anything but straight run only...

I got these straight run from a teacher who hatched them for her students... I knew there was that chance lol... if indeed this one is a pullet, out of 4 babies I got one cockerel, prettt good odds lol

So far, there isn't any definitive male specific plumage. Feathers may be a little curved, but they're rounded. :)
My SS at a comparable age, who also exhibited the funky stuff that's causing questions:

Yes, great odds! You were lucky! As to the sex of your SS, I would go with the opinions of those who own the breed. I took pics on cel phone yesterday, but had trouble downloading to computer... Also, my 2 hens were napping in the chicken house. I'll try again today.
