I have a Speckled Sussex about 2 weeks older than yours and it has been an obvious cockerel for several weeks. I think yours is a pullet.

I’ve thought clb x Maran as well because she has the faint hint of feathers on her legs (like 2 almost non existent) and the other brown egg cross would welsummer and she doesn’t have much of that coloring that I can see. I’m not sure which way the cross goes as to who was roo vs hen but there were some others there at 5 weeks that def had redder combs than she does. Not even a hint of color in her at 7 weeks. Is the hen clb always make it a male offspring in that cross?I’m on the fence about your olive egger. It looks to be a mix of cream legbar and likely Marans as it has a pomp and slate skin. If mom was the CLB then that’s guaranteed male. Post again in a few more weeks! I’ll be curious to see.
Any barred hen will pass her barrin gene to sons only so if roo was solid you can tell sex at hatch pretty much. Other way around (barred roo) doesn’t workI’ve thought clb x Maran as well because she has the faint hint of feathers on her legs (like 2 almost non existent) and the other brown egg cross would welsummer and she doesn’t have much of that coloring that I can see.
