This chick is an April 3rd hatch which means only four weeks. Almost definitely a Roo, right? The comb is just as large as some chicks that I have that are a few weeks older and much more pink, and this one is already developing waddles. I know that it is a particularly difficult breed to sex because the hens have pretty big combs as well, but I feel pretty certain about this one. What do you think?

I sure do wish I could keep him. They are such a sweet breed. His parents are gorgeous. I have four more. Hoping there are a few pullets!!!
I wish you could keep him too! I found out about the Speckled Sussex Breed a while ago and now I’m in love! :love

I already have 19 chickens (1 rooster (18 hens) though.
I wish I could take him, and 1000 other chickens...
