I am thrilled! I
em. Tomorrow I will take pics of my EE mutts...it is hysterical. one I know belongs to one of my BAs it is like looking at a beadred muffed BA too cute. The other 3 are unknown mamas.
I wanted my splash cochin's eggs but I have never caught her laying to know what hers look like. so, folks were telling me their cochin's laid a cream almost white egg so I grabbed 4 of those from my 29 daily eggs...LOL yeah right. Not feather legg or foot in the bunch that I can see. LOL
Eight babies

Cannonball - I love this picture...you can see baby and baby's reflection (and the fluffy EE butt in the background). All of the babies are super friendly but this one is a ubber curious baby. Absolutely adorable with his/her crusty head. I did not mess with Cannonball too much as far as clean up because of the trauma of shooting out of the egg, so the top of its head is streaked with a couple dried hard places. The Delawares are by far (so far) the most curious, active, nosey babies in the brooder. Delaware #1 will leap over to my hand if I am playing with another baby.
Messy Babies...I have been changing that paper towel about every 30 minutes but i want to make sure everyone is okay in the poo department, nothing out of place, no gooey or pasty butts.
What I am thinking is my prettiest little EE...the greyish color just amazes me and is really giving me pause as to which of my hens is mama. No idea yet.
