Can you ladies verify that I have a pullet blue orp here? I am pretty sure it is a she since she mothers my 5 week old Spitz & Hamburgs. Need some professional verification here please?

Looks like a pullet to me due to her body shape and pose. However, my roo, Ugly Eddy, has been mothering my 2 - 8 week olds, LOL

oh, shoot! Yes she/he will not be , whoops, no 8 weeks old today!! Yes, face is that red. But it takes care of the younger ones like their mother would. It spreads it's wings at night and they gather under her. Darn!!!

Ok, then maybe I have a really sweet roo?

Looks girly to me. I had a black and a blue orp that was really red very early which I thought was a roo but indeed was a she and has started laying me some lovely eggs.

But you know they can hold out for months and suddenly one day you have a roo
