Specks that look like worms in poop

I purchased a couple new hens this weekend. They're both just about laying age.
I noticed a pile of poop that has little round specs (larger then grains of sugar) in it, all over it.
Could this be worm eggs? What do you think it could be?
One of them has oozing eyes and I'm going to start them on Aureomycin right away, could this be connected?

A picture would sure be helpful. Are they just larger than sugar or more like the size of rice? That could be tape worm segments. & what color? Are they moving?

thanks for the link, none of those poops look like our poops.

they're totally round, maybe some oval. not moving and all over but not covering the poop.

i'll just watch and see if it comes back again, then I'll get a pic.
