Looks like you have done everything right. Just give her some time. If she is eating and drinking an should be ok. I would probably unwrap the wound later today and let it get some air to dry out. Then re wrap or not depending on how it looks.

Sorry to hear Speedy has been injured. You've done a good job cleaning her up don't use peroxide again it's only for initial wound cleaning. And keep her inside and away from flies. I believe she'll heal fine it's just going to take some time.

So sorry to see this about Speedy! A few weeks ago, I found your first thread from when you first rescued Speedy, and I read through the entire thing! I love her story. You have always taken very good care of her. Keep us updated!
