Spending time with 3wk ducklings

Taking them places where you have to chase them down doesn’t sound safe, many people bring their dogs to parks and having ducklings running around can cause a reaction that can be serious for your little ones. Plus taking them to places where Wild water fowl hang out can mean sickness for your ducklings.

We are careful to avoid dogs. And other ducks. What about stores like WalMart and plant nurseries? I’ve been taking them to those places and keeping them on a towel in the shopping cart. Is that okay?

I don't know about "okay", but I do wonder why.. Do they really let you take them into stores? Wouldn't they be happier at home where they can just be ducks?

Places like Home Depot, Lowes, and similar places should be ok to take them to. They allow pets but there aren't as many dogs as a pet store would have

I thought that more exposure to humans would be a good thing, accustom to people being around. I like having the ducks around me too so when I have errands to run it’s nice to take duckies out and about with me.
