Spicie is either a grey or blue splash.

He's a great example of a Splash male and I suspect he's a Dilute Grey Splash. This is an excellent reference photo for helping to ID and he has such a lovely expression

Were the females from this mating all Greys by any chance?

Thank you Pete I am very proud of Spicie.

Yes the female that was hatched with him was a grey. But we had at the time a chinese gander which we got by accident and the grey female was in our small pond and he drowned her. It made me sick because she was just beautiful..

Sorry to hear that you lost the female but the fact that she was a grey almost certainly confirms that Spicie is a Dilute Grey Splash

Thanks Pete I thought that from the start but people kept telling me he looked blue or lavender but I did not think so. Thank you soooo much for the confirmation on Spicie. That makes me feel better that I was right all the time.

Aspen, Spicie was our first breeding with Grant our grey gander and our Samantha our white. They produce this type evey time they breed.
