I don't think I'm going to take her to the vet, because she is getting better, it seems. I'll try to post an updated picture of her ear tomorrow.

Me too PoultGirly, I would love to see a picture of her. If this is a spider bite or other insect as we figured, it would be self limiting. She will either get better or die, depending on the particular toxins involved. Sad but true. I agree with you about the Vet visit though. If she is showing improvement, why would you bother? The crisis is over and it is doubtful that a Vet would do more than you already have. Save that visit for the more truly needful times like predator attack or egg peritonitis. My fingers are still crossed for you and with your care I'm sure your girl will be fine.

The reason for the picture? I love to see other's birds!
