What kida of spider is this!? We found it right out side are base ment door! Nasty!!! lol We live in Wisconsin.

Looks like a common barn spider....nasty to look at, but harmless if thats what it is.

I don't know, but if you want it to die, jus thave it look in a mirror. I'm sure the shock of its ugly self will give it a heart attack.

I love spiders and encourage them - outside the house.
The one we have adopted this year, named Charlotte of course

- does a beautiful web we look for each night. She's an orb weaver. The patterns of her webs are so interesting.
Encourage spiders and bats! and have less of a problem with pesky flying pests.
