I have just harvested some spiders from a mud wasp nest. Are these spiders good for my chicks to eat? I just fear that if these are harmful for my chicks that they possibly could die if they eat the spiders that I've harvested from a mud wasp's nest

Spiders are not a problem for chickens.

Imp- except for that chicken eating spider in Peru.

Just wondering why you would disturb a mud dawbers nest, they are such helpful wasps. Was it hanging on your house or something?? An interesting idea about recycling the paralyzed spiders.

Yes there is an enormous bird eating spider in south america, goliath spider I think?? really gross

I didn't know that mud wasps were helpful and it's nest was on the corner of a wall by the front door of my home
