Spilled Feed Moldy

I carelessly let spilled feed go on the ground and it has gotten moldy. I took a shovel and scraped it up with some of the topsoil and will compost it out of reach. In the future, I was wondering if I can dig down deep and turn the dirt over, burying the little bit of mold. Ideally, I will not let this happen again.

I am getting better at narrowing my searches! Found out that AG Lime is good to mix in too.

yes as long as they don't see it neccessary to dust in the upturner soil

I would layer agricultural limestone on the area and the chickens can eat it and use the limestone
