I remember seeing a photo a while back of somebody's wire egg basket, where you put the new eggs in the top of a chute that spirals down to the bottom, where you can remove the oldest eggs. Does this description ring a bell with anyone?? I've searched for the thread/picture but can't find it, and have googled it as well without success. I would love a basket like this so I can be sure we're eating the oldest eggs first. Anyone?? Thanks!

I have no clue! Never heard of such but it sounds neat!! I'm giving you a bump to stay at the top!! Hope you find it!!

It is called a "Skelter" and comes in two sizes, for regular and bantam eggs. Also different colors. I bought one each, after having see that thread. Took FOREVER to get here from the UK.

Lemme see if I can find the web site; they take PayPal.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The Skelter is such a brilliant idea--I'm surprised it isn't more readily available. I'm ordering one today for sure. And that spiral egg holder is so cool looking! I may have to buy one of those as well. :-)

This is such a neat idea! I may have missed it in the link but, how much did they cost??
