Splash Satin?

[Chocolate Silkie Queen]

I have this chick I had hatched out. That now it's older people are saying it's a splash. This is when it was a chick and now. My question is if we are thinking it is my chocolate rooster with my Mauve hen why are the legs the same as my Phoenix chickens?

Mom- Mauve hen (definitely her egg) I know you can't see her leg color but it is the perfect Silkie color!! I wish she was better quality but I was fooled when I got her(she was supposed to be show quality lavender).

This is my chocolate mottled Satin. We are guessing if this chick belongs to him he's hiding blue? He has yellow legs and skin. Could he make the chicks skin more slate if he's yellow skin and the Silkie hen has black?

These are the Phoenix chickens. The rooster has gold and dun in his line. They have the same color legs as the chick. It's hard to see the chicks legs but I promise it's the same color.

What would be causing the chicks legs to be Phoenix leg color if the chocolate is the dad? The chicks I know for sure from the chocolate I've had males are all black and females have been chocolate. I did have one come out white with a black dot but it was crossed with Cinnamon Queen.
Any ideas on what I'm missing here??

I'm not sure what the Phoenix part has to do with it other than you're seeing similarities to your own chickens?

Silkies have five toes and feathered feet and legs. I do not see that on that chick.

Is the one you're holding the same chick? The one you're holding doesn't look like a splash, but the one standing by itself in the grass looks like it could be one.

It's crossed with something else though, and sorry I can't help you figure out with what.

So the Phoenix rooster could be a possible dad. I know silkies have 5 toes the mom to this chick is Silkie. All pictures are of the same chicken. I know the chick doesn't look splash but now that it's older it does. I'm just not sure how that's possible. The chocolate rooster I have is a Satin Silkie that's mottled and has yellow skin. I wasn't sure if maybe the reason this chickens legs are the slate blue is cause the chocolate rooster has yellow legs? When this chick hatched I thought it was Silkie Phoenix as I didn't believe my chocolate was old enough and if it does come from the chocolate rooster than he has a hidden blue gene and this chick is the only chick he's had till months(3-4 months) later. I'm just having a hard time figuring out if this is even a splash. It looked nothing like a splash as a baby and I know my Phoenix rooster has no blue in his lines he's BBR with golden and Dun in his lines. I know it's a mix as my Silkie rooster is blue but that wouldn't work with my hen being a Silkie. So only two possible dads are the Phoenix rooster or my Mottled Chocolate Satin Silkie. Just confused on how the legs look slate blue if mom has the dark Silkie legs the supposed dad has yellow and my Phoenix rooster has the same legs. I know for a fact this is my Mauve Silkie hens chick. Mauve is chocolate and blue genes so I would understand if it's blue but others say splash.

This chick does have five toes on one foot. It's hidden in the adult pictures. I'll try to get pictures today from my friend as she has this chicken now

So it indeed is part silkie, which you already knew. In that first picture, its feet and legs are nothing like a silkie as they should be full of feathers and both feet have to have five toes.

If you were breeding to the silkie SOP, I'd never ever use that chicken, but if you wanted beautiful chickens, I'd use that one in a heartbeat!

I'm not trying to breed for sop. If the silkies used for this breeding were show quality I'd definitely not cross breed them. I was just wanting my Phoenix chickens with extra toes and I loved the coloring of the Silkie Phoenix crosses. I am just trying to see why the legs say Phoenix if it's supposed not a Phoenix cross
