What would the chicks look like if a splash silkie hen was crossed with a white silkie (from paint) rooster?

I believe your white rooster, from a paint, would be a dominant white, ie. a double dose of white. Thus, bred to a splash silkie would create all-white chicks. If he's not, then you might get some black ones too. What would the chicks look like if a splash silkie hen was crossed with a white silkie (from paint) rooster?
A white rooster from a paint line would be dominant white, as @Debbie292d said, but when crossed to a splash hen, you'd get 100% blue paints. These will look similar to splashes, but their white will be cleaner and when breeding them they wont work as splashes. If your looking to breed "splash like" birds for yourself these will work fine, I had several blue paint mixes and thought they were splash for years. What would the chicks look like if a splash silkie hen was crossed with a white silkie (from paint) rooster?
Serious? I only got into paints recently and read my splash is about worthless as the double white will wash her out.A white rooster from a paint line would be dominant white, as @Debbie292d said, but when crossed to a splash hen, you'd get 100% blue paints.
Is there any chance to get a splash if i breed the white and splash?A white rooster from a paint line would be dominant white, as @Debbie292d said, but when crossed to a splash hen, you'd get 100% blue paints. If you want more splashes, you would have to cross your hen to either a blue or splash rooster. Crossing to splash would give you 100% splash offspring, qhile crossing to blue would give you 50% splash and 50% blue.
I’m actually starting a silkie breeding business hahaIs there any chance to get a splash if i breed the white and splash?
I would go to my Facebook poultry groups for my state and scroll through as you'll find people giving away roosters. You need to stay with specifically pure silkies though and they are out there. I have a few every year.Is there any chance to get a splash if i breed the white and splash?
I ordered two show quality chicks from a breeder. they’re 12 weeks old i think? Their dna test results will be back Monday and after that they should be shipping. I bought a splash hen and a white rooster. I did have other color options but it’s too late now.I would go to my Facebook poultry groups for my state and scroll through as you'll find people giving away roosters. Your dominant white is awesome for paints, so now you need a black hen. Where do you live? I have like four of them.
The other thing you could do if you have an incubator is buy hatching eggs on eBay or from a breeder. There's an article on BYC with a list of breeders I can find if you want. Look for those that say "Show quality", "Bearded/Vaulted", or "Exhibition" etc. If you don't want naked necks, which I didn't, you need to watch for those too. Frizzles as well. You shouldn't breed frizzle to frizzle so I avoid having any frizzle roosters.
They can't breed for about three or four more months at the soonest so you have time if you so choose to get something else to mix in there. Usually, it's about 8 months with mine. They don't become good at it until they are 10 months to a year.I ordered two show quality chicks from a breeder. they’re 12 weeks old i think?
